Tigers basketball confident against tough field at state
The Hayden High School boys basketball team will face Holyoke High School at 1:15 p.m. today in the Class 2A state basketball tournament in Pueblo. Holyoke is the No. 2 team, with a 21-2 record.
Oak Creek to consider cultivation moratorium
After approving a conditional license for a medical marijuana dispensary in January, the Oak Creek Town Board will consider tonight a moratorium to stop cultivation operations from gaining town approval. At a meeting at 7 p.m., the Town Board is scheduled to consider a 90-day moratorium that would prevent medical marijuana growing operations from gaining land use approval.
Steamboat briefs: Oak Creek gas station shuts down indefinitely
The only gas station in Oak Creek has shut down indefinitely, but the owner is working to find a new tenant to reopen the business. The Oak Creek Sinclair was shut down by its tenant Friday, owner Jon Peddie said.

12:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident on Ingles Lane where a person reported hearing a man and woman yelling. Officers could not find the people.
